We do not believe feminism is about helping a few privileged women become "winners." Many view feminism simply as a movement that started with women gaining the right to vote, helped women enter the workforce, and addressed unfair everyday burdens like household chores.

Yet, reducing society to a simple binary—men as powerful and privileged, women as weak and disadvantaged—erases the realities of marginalized women, such as Buraku and Zainichi Korean women, who have endured severe working conditions without ever having the option to be stay-at-home wives.

When some women attain high positions within the current status quo at the expense of those in even more precarious situations, discrimination has simply taken on a new form. We practice a feminism that questions these very structures and aims to transform society.
